Challenge

Elevate a legendary automaker's digital experience.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with VMYLR and the Ford Web team as part of an awesome crew of eight. Together, we embarked on a mission to give Ford’s digital web experience a fresh new vibe while staying true to its iconic brand.

My role in the project involved diving deep into the UX realm, where I focused on producing components for the website’s design system. This meant crafting user-friendly elements that would enhance the overall navigation and functionality of the site.

On the UI front, I rolled up my sleeves to style and construct pages, ensuring they looked slick and cohesive with the updated design system. From selecting fonts and colors to fine-tuning layouts, every detail was carefully considered to create a seamless and visually appealing user experience.

What was done?

Developed UX and UI components, page layouts, maintained brand and digital system.

n addition to our design efforts, we collaborated closely with the developers on Ford’s end to ensure seamless integration of our components. This involved meticulously spec’ing out each element, detailing measurements for gutters, line spacing, text sizing, colors, and more to facilitate smooth handoff.

Operating in two-week design sprints, we hustled to deliver results efficiently. At the end of each sprint, we presented our completed work to the Ford team, ensuring alignment and addressing any feedback or adjustments needed.

Through this collaborative process, we fostered a strong partnership between design and development, ultimately delivering a digital web experience for Ford that not only looked great but also functioned flawlessly.

An immersive visual campaign that is simple, bold, and colorful.

Being part of this project was an incredible experience from start to finish. Seeing our collaborative efforts come to life and witnessing the transformation of Ford’s digital web experience was truly rewarding. It’s amazing to see how our design assets, meticulously crafted and thoughtfully implemented, have made a tangible impact on the user experience and brand perception. Working alongside such a talented team at VMYLR and Ford made the journey even more enjoyable, and I’m proud to have played a role in elevating Ford’s online presence to new heights.
